Screen printing machine for applying photosensitive layers on glass sheets by screen printing in an automatic cycle
Screen printing machines are designed for applying photosensitive layers on glass sheets by screen printing in an automatic cycle. The proper printing process is preceded by the introduction of appropriate data to the machine control system through the operator’s touch panel and the setting of the sieve setting operations relative to the vacuum table on which the glass sheet with the given dimensions is placed. The sieve is placed on the side handles and locked with pneumatic cylinders. A print carriage moves over the screen, to which the printing rubber profile is attached and the profile spreading the paste on the screen surface. Both profiles are able to be moved in the vertical plane independently of each other. The glass sheet, after feeding on the vacuum table, is pressed against the fixed bases and then immobilized by creating underpressure under it. The printing carriage during the forward movement covers the screen with a paste, while during the return movement, using a printing rubber, it presses the glass paste through the printing elements of the screen. After finishing the printing process, the sieve is raised to the position set in the control system, and the glass sheet after switching on the vacuum is removed by the manipulator outside the machine area.
